We use this website as our main communication channel to reduce costs for the customer/patient, and to speed up access of EXO-L to all customers/patients. This website contains all the information you need to inform yourself and to offer your patients a better treatment for ankle twists.

    More than 95% protection against ankle twists

    The ankle brace that we have invented - and that is worn by Olympic and World Champions - is totally different from other braces. Standard braces are based on the ‘limitation of movement’ principle. Our innovative custom-made (3D scan to 3D print) EXO-L Ankle Brace is based on the ‘car safety belt’ principle: it does not hinder regular ankle-foot movement, but only springs into action when there is an immediate threat of an ankle twist. Thanks to this unique new concept EXO-L provides more than 95% protection against ankle twists.

    New standard in ankle sprain prevention

    Ankle twists - often suffered during sport, leisure or work - have an enormous impact on a person’s life, including a possible surgery, a long recovery process and sick leave from work. We would applaud it if the use of EXO-L were to be covered by insurance companies. We are 100% convinced that EXO-L is so effective that it should be the new standard in ankle twist prevention. It would be great if The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy recommended EXO-L to all of its members.

    EXO-L is only available online [link]. We advise each individual who is considering buying an EXO-L to consult a professional first, e.g. a physiotherapist. To promote this, we communicate that medical professionals can order EXO-Ls with a discount.

    Help patients to get a 3D Scan

    People who order an EXO-L Ankle Brace have to provide a 3D scan of their ankle. If you wish to help your patients with this, you need a 3D scanner with a sufficiently high accuracy. If you already own one, please make sure it meets the minimum requirements:

    - maximum point accuracy of 0.5 mm

    - able to scan at least 20 cm from the ground around the whole leg

    - able to create .STL file or .ASC files

    If you do not own a 3D scanner yet and would like to purchase one, here’s a list of models we advise. Prices range from less than 1,000 euros upwards.

    You may opt to include a 3D scan as part of a consult, or make it a separate service. It typically takes 2-5 minutes to complete a scan, and another 2-5 minutes to complete the administration.
